The growing wave of migration makes it necessary to develop quick and efficient procedures that will allow foreigners to legalize their stay in Poland. Currently, application for indefinite residence is possible only after several years spent in Poland, but before that the foreigner can apply for a temporary residence. The application for legalization of residence may be submitted only in Poland. In order to examine the application it is necessary to take fingerprints from the foreigner.
